About Counselling

Whether you have been affected by relationship issues, or have been the victim of abuse, suffered with bereavement, depression, anxiety, anger, low self-esteem, loneliness,  or employment issues, counselling can support people through difficult times and offer the opportunity to choose a different path.

Our relationships, whether with partners, family, friends or work colleagues can be part of the reason for discontent or frustration.  Lack of communication or intimacy is a common cause for divorce or seperation.

You may feel trapped, or stuck, aware that the same things keep happening. You may be overwhelmed by your feelings and find it difficult to know how to go forward.

Personal counselling could be the beginning of a change in direction, confidence and achievement.  It can help develop stronger relationships and enable you to communicate better with those around you.

Counselling is private and confidential.

Counselling appointments are usually for 1 hour and generally once a week, however, I try to be as flexible as the situation requires.

Fees are £45 per hour for individuals and £50 for couples.  I do offer a limited number of places at concessionary rates.   Fees can be paid by cash or bank transfer.
